Houston Hammond is an award-winning architectural designer with over has over 30 years of experience since graduating from the School of Architecture at Clemson University. He started his career working on a wide variety of interesting design projects and whole house renovations. Over his career, he has designed more than 200 new homes priced from $350,000 to over $2 million. He currently averages about 6 large homes a year along with multiple smaller projects and renovations.

Based in Asheville, NC, Houston has designed homes in most of the developments in the mountains of Western NC and to the east in the Raleigh/Durham area. He has even designed homes at The Greenbriar in WV. Our beautiful mountains can present unique challenges.  Houston takes pride in his ability to design a home that looks like it belongs on the side of a mountain and that it’s been there for years.
